Spike's Court....
He was my first Dutch greyhound from a Dutch track. I adopted him as a one year old, very neglected boy( In 1995) He was with me for 13 years. This name is a tribute to him. He was a beautiful little Sand Man.

Yes ... THERE ARE times and I Have to go to work. I work as a nurse in people's homes. Sometimes There Is a babysitter for my kids at home, But WE OFTEN houds HAS to stay at home alone, or better said, in eachother's company. 4 hours away from home is the limit. My shifts
Are The Perfect Combination for me and my Hounds. By the way I act and move They know exactly What is going on ..
I Developed a certain routine, and always stick to it: Walks and breakfast or dinner. They pick up little movements and Signs: closing the kitchen window, turning on the tv., Disconnecting the telephone, putting on Some lamps. But the most obvious sign is the moment When I put on my uniform. All those Tails wagging! Uniform MEANS: pig's ear! Leaving the house and treat Getting MEANS .. They Feel Confident and satisfied by using this routine.
The Same counts for me: Can I enjoy my work Without having worries about them. When I come home They Already Heard My Car and They Are Waiting for me at the front door. All dogs on the lead and again There we go for a walk! They surely found HAS Their golden bed. Hopefully They Are My Dear Companions for many, many Years.
Nice...I´m working 8 hours, I think that it isn´t problem. Dogs are big sleepers and they sleep 8 hours. Then they have big activity, food...In our home my handbag means - pig´s ear:)))
